Receipt of goods into the warehouse

logistic units

On the data collector, consecutive packages of the product being stacked on the pallet are read. Once the loading unit is formed, attributes are assigned to it: production date, shelf life date, batch number, responsible person, number of packages on the pallet, etc. A logistics label in accordance with the international SGI standard is then printed.

deliveries with ERP documents

RapidWMS integration with ERP systems (e.g. Comarch ERP XL) allows you to generate a warehouse receipt order directly from an order from a supplier or from a PZ document registered in the ERP system. By linking these documents, it is easy to carry out a claim procedure with the supplier, should the need arise.

storage units

In a situation where goods received in the warehouse cannot be released to customers (e.g., must be released by quality control), specific storage units are blocked.

selection of storage location

Depending on how the RapidWMS is set up, it indicates the location where the cargo unit should be placed, or the location is chosen by the warehouseman. The system’s choice of location results from an advanced warehouse optimization algorithm.

Storage of goods in the warehouse

Keeping parameters storage

RapidWMS keeps a record of all storage locations along with their parameters (dimensions, load capacity, availability, required storage equipment, etc.). This allows the system to automatically indicate the location according to the parameters of the goods received, the lot number, the person responsible, the number of packages on a pallet, etc.

Distribution of goods
according to various criteria

RapidWMS can designate areas and locations for storing goods according to various criteria including: storage conditions, frequency of retrieval, dimensions, among others.

Keeping inventory
for each location

The modern RapidWMS system maintains inventory for each storage location along with the parameters of the goods stored there (lot nrumer, expiration date, etc.).

Dynamic inventory

RapidWMS allows you to perform an inventory on the fly for selected goods or areas in the warehouse. The checked region is blocked for the duration of the inventory without affecting the operation of the rest of the warehouse.

Picking of goods before release

Creation of loading units
according to the recipient’s requirements

Picking orders are prepared in such a way that the formed load units are in accordance with the customer’s requirements. The requirements may concern dimensions, weight, type of pallet and other parameters.

Distribution of work
among warehouse employees

RapidWMS precisely distributes picking orders among warehouse workers, taking into account their qualifications, the warehouse regions they are responsible for or the current load. This allows the warehouse to use the method of picking by assortment (handling several orders simultaneously).

When generating tasks for the warehouseman, RapidWMS optimizes the list of commands so that the time and distance the warehouseman has to travel to retrieve the goods are as small as possible.

Combining releases
to a common shipment

RapidWMS allows you to combine multiple releases for a customer into one common shipment. This ensures lower delivery costs and optimizes warehouse operations.
